Vivian Priscilla Tadsen (Sahagon) was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and a very dear friend (they knew her as “Vi”). She was sister of 12 siblings of which all have passed before her. On 2/9/1939, Vivian was born to Stanley Lucas and Marie Elena Sahagon. On 9/17/2023 at age 84, she is survived by; daughter Candi (1), son Barney (2), and youngest daughter Cozi (5). Over the years her heart and home were open to caring for and taking care of nieces Tina and Karen, daughters of brother Frank Elizares. At age, 52 she proudly retired from Pacific Bell Telephone Company as a Service Representative.
Vivian enjoyed enriching her Filipino and Hawaiian culture with her hula dancing, graduating from Lei Hulu, and traveling with close friends and relatives. She loved reading, crafting, sewing, watching her favorite TV programs, attending live plays, musicals, and Hawaiian competition events. She was always very proud of her independence, her home and the life that was full of love, celebrations, and lots of laughter.
A Celebration of Life event will be arranged at American Legion Hall Post 716 at 3252 E. Florista St., Los Alamitos, CA 90720, October 29 at 6:00pm. A legacy memorial is being built in honor of Vivian’s life at the “V Ranch” in Seligman, Arizona.
