Prakash Kumar Patel

Prakash Vithaldas Javia, passed away at age 67 on February 16th, 2021 due to end stage stomach cancer. He was surrounded by his loved ones as he took his last breath.

Prakash was born in Sambalpur, India on September 3rd, 1931 to Vithaldasbhai and Narmadaben Javia. He received his education at The Rajkumar College of Raipur and went on to receive his Engineering degree at Rourkela Engineering College. He met Nila Kalaria and after marrying in May of 1977 they began their life together in California. Together they raised their daughters Neeta and Neha. Prakash was a well respected employee of Boeing Aerospace where he worked in the wing design department as an Aerospace Engineer. During his free time Prakash enjoyed tinkering with his cars, spending time with family and taking trips to explore the outdoors.

Prakash was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and grandfather. He is survived by his wife Nila Patel, their daughters Neeta Patel and Neha Saija, their son in law Nikunj Saija and their grandchildren Aryan and Ayana Saija.

Prakash’s family will miss him very much but knows he is finally at rest and free of suffering.
