Erlinda De Los Santos Alandy

Erlinda "Linda" Delos Santos Alandy, 80, of Seal Beach, CA, passed away on October 10, 2023. Born on May 1, 1943, in Pasay City, Philippines, Linda was an Angel here on Earth and has now claimed her wings in Heaven. She will continue to be our Angel forever, looking after us. Her heart and soul was always full of life and love, she was always so giving. Her spirit will live on in all of us forever.

Linda is survived by her loving sister, Gloria Magadia, and her devoted husband, Ira “Es” Alandy. She was preceded in death by her mother, Margarita Vizcarra, her father, Meliton Delos Santos, and her brother, Antonio Delos Santos.

In 1964, Linda graduated from St. Thomas University in Manila, Philippines, with a Registered Nurse Degree. The following year, she came to the United States and began her career at Grace Hospital in Detroit, Philadelphia. In 1967, Linda worked at the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles, and in 1974, she joined the Long Beach Veteran's Hospital before moving to the Long Beach Community Hospital.

Linda was a devoted member of St. Hedwigs Catholic Church, where she got married to Es in 1980. She found solace and strength in her faith throughout her life.

Outside of her career and religious commitments, Linda had a passion for travel. She bought her first home in Seal Beach in 1974 and enjoyed exploring new destinations with her beloved sister, Gloria. Together they traveled to China, Europe, Jerusalem and Alaska.

Linda's kind and generous nature touched the lives of many, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May her soul rest in eternal peace. We will love you FOREVER...love Ate.
