William David Tysol

Born on June 1 ^st , 1934 in Staten Island, New York, William Tysol was called to heaven on February 24 ^th , 2020 in Long Beach, California. He is preceded in death by his sister Terri, and his brothers Raymond and John. He is survived by a large, and loving family, including his wife Linda, whom he spent 43 happy years with, and his children, Dawn, Donna, Diane, Steven, Bob and Denee. He leaves behind 15 grandchildren and his faithful pet companions, Sabrina and Bruiser.

Bill was known for his strength and his compassion, as well as his caring and protective spirit. He always had an open door and open arms to those who needed him, and he spent the last years of his life fighting to stay with his family as long as he could. It was no secret that he adored his wife, and he would often go to extraordinary measures to make her and their children happy. He not only loved his family, he loved animals, being surrounded by nature, especially spending his time at Silent Valley RV Park, country music and his church family.

A celebration of Bill’s life will be planned at a future date, and information will be provided to his family and friends when available.
