William Walter Riedley

October 20, 1938 to May 16, 2016

William (‘Bill’) was born in Louisville, Kentucky to Charles J. and Margaret A. Riedley.

After serving his country in the U.S. Army, Bill moved to California and worked as a supervisor for Hughes Aircraft in Newport Beach for almost 30 years. Quickly bored with retired life, Bill returned to work at the Huntington Beach Unified School District for almost 18 years.

Bill was predeceased by his parents; his former wife, Greta; and his brothers, Jack and David. He is survived by his sisters, Delores and Rose; his brother, Gary; his son, William; his daughter, Linda; and his grandchildren, Ashley, Zachary, Amanda, Zoe, Taylor, and Shannon.

Funeral services will be held on June 6th at 8:30 am at St. Hedwig Catholic Church, 3591 Orangewood Avenue in Los Alamitos. A private interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 4471 Lincoln Avenue in Cypress.
