William Richard Elliott
May 23, 1930 — February 21, 2015
William (Bill) Richard Elliott passed peacefully on February 21, 2015 at the age of 84. He was born in Hollywood, CA, to Harold and Doris Elliott. Bill graduated from Hollywood High School and entered the U.S. Navy, serving during the Korean conflict. He then attended the College of Pacific before entering the film industry, where he worked for 40 years, including as Secretary-Treasurer for Local 683 of the International Film/Video Technician's Union. He is survived by his loving wife, Claudia, of 55 years, their two children, Greg and Carey, and their respective spouses, Sherry, and David McCarthy, and six grandchildren. Services will be held on Saturday, February 28th, at 10:30 at American Martyrs Church in Manhattan Beach.
