Bill Arthur was one of the world’s “true gentlemen”. He was so kind, cheerful and caring. Bill was the eldest of six children born to William Frederick Arthur and Anita Glasgow Arthur. He was preceded in death by his sister, Louise, and brother, George. He leaves his sister, Diane Simon, and brothers, Edward and Robert.
Bill was married for 72 very happy years to his wife, Ruth Enright. They had seven children, Karen, who passed away in 2022, Susan Mammen, Liane Davis, William, Vincent, David and Steven. There are sixteen grandchildren, fifteen greatgrandchildren and two more are expected this fall.
Bill was a mechanical engineer and worked for forty-five years for Byron Jackson Pump Company at several positions before becoming a Senior Project Engineer.
He was an excellent photographer and loved gardening and fishing and enjoyed woodworking, with many of his projects improving their home.
Bill was so happy to be able to travel and see many parts of the world. He and Ruth have had a wonderful life and are so grateful for all of God’s blessings.
