Victor Charles Mcmanus Jr.

Victor Charles McManus Jr. was a loving husband, Father and grandfather who passed away on March 9 th , 2018, surrounded by his family. Victor was born on January 17, 1940 in Alameda, California. He moved to Long Beach at 15 years old and attended Saint Anthony’s high school where he graduated in 1958. He met and married his high school sweetheart, Terry on April 8, 1961 and they had eight children together.
Victor is survived by his seven children Victor, Vincent, Maureen, Peter, Matthew, Mark and Kathleen. He is proceeded in death by his wife Terry and daughter Irene. Victor is also survived by his sisters Patricia and Jean as well as 11 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Victor was an active member of St. Matthews Catholic Church for over twenty years. He was a merchant Marine for thirty five years.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday 10:00 a.m., March 23, 2018 at St. Matthews Catholic Church 672 Temple Ave. in Long Beach.
