We are deeply saddened by the passing of our beloved Victor Emilio Arellano on November 12, 2022. Victor was born to Emiliano and Clementina Arellano on September 30, 1977. He is survived by his parents, his sister and brother-in-law, Anna and Jason Binder, his nephews, Jacob and Joshua Binder. He also leaves behind a large family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Victor attended Holy Family School, St. Anthony High School and California State University, Long Beach.
If you knew Victor, or Vic as he liked to be called, you knew that win or lose, he was a loyal and proud fan of the Raiders, Lakers, and Dodgers. He loved being at Dodger Stadium with friends and family having a good time. He loved music, live concerts and of course, dancing...he also loved singing. He loved watching superhero movies with his nephew Joshua or going to the gym with Jacob or any excuse to be around them. He loved to learn new things and was constantly working on being a better man; reading books, traveling, nature, listening to a podcast, whatever it took. Vic was pretty outstanding, one of a kind. No matter what he did, he loved being around the people he cared about. He loved the simple things in life.
He was kind, loving, compassionate, understanding and genuinely comforting. When you were around him, he was truly present and made sure that you knew he was listening, and always had wise words to share. He had a unique way of finding what was right about a situation and validating people's experiences. He had the best smile, one that was contagious, bright, and joyful. Vic was full of life. Being around Vic, you got to experience a genuine, joyful kid who was living authentically always bringing cheer and love to the people he was around. He was not afraid to show his emotions, be vulnerable, goofy and loving. He always found a way to share a laugh or make a joke to help brighten up someone’s day. Although Vic knew heartache all too well, he was determined to live a life of love and joy and wanted to spread that to all his loved ones. He did that. He gave us all so much joy and love.
His loss is heartbreaking and devastating to all that loved Vic. We will miss him dearly. He will forever live in our hearts.
