Vera May Kissling

July 7, 1928 - April 17, 2021 Vera and her brothers, Edsel, Paul and Kenneth, were raised by their loving parents, Ralph and Gladys Davison on Ellis Street in North Long Beach. Preceded in death by husbands Carl Deleske (1970) and Karl Kissling (2012), she lived her life and raised her daughters, Linda (Randy) Nesbit and Carlene Kirkland in Long Beach. She is survived by her daughters, six grandchildren, Hollie, Karl, Rhonda, Michele, Tamara and Nicole; eleven great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Blessed with four stepchildren: Karla Williams, Peggy (Keith) Foutz, Marsha Warner and Steve Bailey, eleven step grandchildren; two great stepdaughters; adored nephew, Butch (Gretchen) Davison and nieces, Pam (John) Huston and Paula (Ed) Mathews. She was predeceased by her sons-in-law, Ron Kirkland and Donald Moonier; her great-grandson; and her step-grandson. She will be missed by many friends and family. Viewing at Luyben-Dilday on Wednesday., May 12, 2021 4-8 PM, Funeral Thursday., May 13,, 2021 10AM with burial to follow in Rose Hills Memorial Park, Whittier, at 12 noon.
