Todd Peter Brown was born December 3, 1970 and passed on March 10, 2015. Todd, was a beautiful, bright child, full of fun, laughter, and a little bit of boyish mischief. He was also a good student, and a promising athlete. He had the world in his hands for a very promising future. His Life was turned upside down, his senior year of high school, when he developed the first symptoms of schizophrenia and mental illness. He suffered immensely, because of his desire to achieve the things in life, which many of us take for granted, such as marriage, children, a family of his own, and the ability to work and achieve his dreams. But he never complained. He accepted his illness, with grace and dignity. He gave to those who knew him, his endless, amazing smile, and his gift of laughter. Of those who loved him, he changed our lives forever. Todd was very loved, and can now be at peace with those who love him in heaven, and for eternity. He is whole again as he could never be on earth. Such a kind and loving spirit - he will be missed but his body and mind are finally at rest in a wondrous place. Todd is survived by his mother, Cyndy Burley, step-father Mike Burley, brother's Garridan Brown, Brenden Burley, sister Autumn Slater (Burley) her husband Marc. His grandfather, John Brown Jr., father, John Brown III, many aunts, uncles and cousins. And his loving aunt and uncle of his heart Lawana and Roger Dunlap. "Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves; defend the rights of all those who have nothing. Speak up and judge faily, and defend the rights of the poor and needy." ~ Proverbs 31:8-9 Arrangements under the direction of Luyben-Dilday Mortuary, Long Beach, CA.
