Thomas Edward Stephens

Thomas Edward Stephens, 50 years young, known as Tommy for many years, has unexpectedly passed away and said goodbye to his life here on earth on May 26, 2022 and now he is in heaven with his dad, grandparents, and his aunts and uncles.
He was born on September 4, 1971 to Thomas and Denise Stephens in Long Beach, CA at Memorial Hospital. He was their second child. He is preceded in death by his father who passed away in February 1981.
Tommy is survived by his son Thomas, his mother Denise, his sister Heidi and brother Matthew. Born and raised in Long Beach and graduated from Millikan High School in 1989 and has kept in touch with friends he has has known since he was a child. These are some of the words from his many friends that he grew up with and others that he worked with. Tommy always loved to make people laugh, had a great personality, was very social, smart, and he was very nice to everyone and had such a kind presence and loved his smile.
He loved to play basketball and was a true and always a Laker’s fan. Basketball was his way of exercising and getting rid of stress and he loved his rivalry with his son on the court. That was always their fun days together.
His memorial service will be on June 18, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Luyben Dilday Mortuary and after the service, we invite you to join us for his Celebration of Life at the Long Beach Marriott, 4700 Airport Plaza Drive. There will be food, slideshow, and anyone will be welcome to use the microphone and share your awesome memories with Tommy.
