THOMAS ROBERT ROSS Tom (Tim) Ross died in Long Beach, California on September 21, 2015. He was born in Long Beach on July 6, 1946. He was predeceased by his parents, Clarence and Lucille Ross. He is is survived by his wife, Kay, sons David and Peter and brother, Peter. His working career included information technology and accounting. His last employer was Kloeckner Metals Corporation. He served two years in the U. S. Army, including service in Vietnam. Tom enjoyed gardening and model-making (sailboats and trains), but his passion was always sailing and skiing. He was a long-time member of the Alamitos Bay Yacht Club. He also was actively involved with the management of family farm land in Kansas. Tom had a strong wit and a great sense of curiouity. He loved his family and enjoyed the world around him.
