Thomas Edward Miller, Jr.,76 years old, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loved ones, on Saturday, October 24 th , 2020.

Born on December 15, 1943 in Long Beach, California to Thomas Sr. and Marie Miller. He attended Jordan High School and Long Beach City College.

In 1968, he married the love of his life, Judy Harris. They had two boys, Jody and Robert.

He worked as a produce manager at Vons for 38 years and retired in 2000. He was a creature of habit, who woke up at 5 a.m., grabbed his black coffee and was always ready to work. His work ethic was impeccable, working 6 days a week and only missing 4 days of work his entire career - two of those were for the death of his father. After a couple of years of retirement, he enjoyed working as a crossing guard at a middle school until March 2020.

Tom had passion for cars and aircraft, taking pride for having the ear for identifying a DC 10 vs. DC 11, or other airplanes for that matter, which periodically hover over their neighborhood. He often told stories about how great his classic Corvette was. Because family came first, he gave it up, and bought a family car. Over the years, he took great pride and joy making sure that his and his wife’s cars were always polished and clean. Tom enjoyed watching sports, traveling with his wife, and most importantly, spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Judy, son Jody, wife Lori, and son Robert, wife Tessa, sister Rotha Williamson; grandchildren Chelsea, Ty, and Zoe. He will also be missed by his nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and many friends that loved him.
