Thomas W. Brewis

Thomas Brewis, 58, of Long Beach, passed away on November 5, 2018 at his home in Long Beach.

Funeral services will be held at 10AM, December 15th 2018 at St Luke’s Lutheran Evangelical Church in Long Beach with Pastor Garry Mohr officiating. Thomas wished to be cremated and have his Burial at sea which will be held at Life Guard Station 18, Bolsa Chica State Beach in Huntington Beach on December 16th 9AM.

Thomas was born in Long Beach, California to John and Audrey on November 17, 1959. He graduated from Lakewood High School in 1977. He worked as a chef and later had his own company installing both commercial and residential tile. He was a musician and avid surfer through most of his adult life. He was involved in performing with various bands musically, and produced some albums. He was active in his surf club and was always working to improve with each ride. Tom also donated his time in support of his church and often his long list of friends. He achieved the rank of Eagle Scout within the Boy Scouts.

Thomas is preceded in death by his Father John and Mother Audrey.

Thomas is survived by 24 first cousins scattered throughout the USA and Australia.
