Terry Hunt

In Loving Memory of Terry Hunt (November 3, 1954 – January 10, 2016)

Today we mourn the loss of a dear husband, father, brother, nephew, uncle, son, and friend who left this world early this week after a brief but painful bout with cancer. Terry lived the life he loved and never let a bad moment get him down. His independence and self-assurance brought him success in all that he did and a strong will caused him to always look forward and never give up. But at the end of the day it was the security of his family that brought Terry the most joy. Terry loved his family first and foremost, and if it may have seemed at times like “tough love,” it was an eternal and unconditional love ever present. Terry will forever be remembered and loved by family and friends alike, all those who were touched by his many loving thoughts, deeds, and acts. He leaves behind a huge hole in our collective hearts that will not soon be healed.

Now is the time to celebrate the life of Terry Hunt by remembering all of the happiness and good things that he brought into our lives with his presence. Terry never wanted anyone to make a fuss over him and certainly he wouldn’t want to be the source of such sadness. What Terry would say to all that mourn his passing is to live each day to the fullest, as if it were your last and, most of all, tell your loved ones how you feel because you may not have another chance. Terry, we will forever love you and miss you deeply. See you on the other side.

Terry Hunt is survived by his wife Leanne, son Mathew, brothers James (Janna) and Keith (Loretta), sisters Lydia (Bob McInerney) and Elaine, niece Jaimy, nephews Brian, Tyler, Andrew, Graham, Zane, his Aunt Margie Wickersham, and countless friends, neighbors, and coworkers that knew and loved him.
