Suzanne Buckley

Suzanne Buckley was born in Fall River, Massachusetts on July 5, 1954 to parents Armand and Noella Gagne, who she is now reunited with, along with her brothers Rene and Armand Jr., and sister Jeanne.

She moved with her family to Long Beach, California when she was just three years old. While attending St. Joseph High School, she met the love of her life , Richard Buckley at one of the school dances. They married on August 26, 1972 and were married for 43 years. They had 3 daughters together, Jennifer, Jessica, and Jacqueline. In her free time, Suzanne loved to be outside doing gardening work in her yard, going to the beach to put her feet in the sand, and also loved to turn on the radio and dance in the living room. She enjoyed the holidays with her family and loved watching her grandchildren grow up. For the last several years she was in and out of the hospital and her health continued to decline. She fought hard and unfortunately her body couldn’t hold on any longer. Her children and family were at her bedside when she passed peacefully on December 18, 2023 at the age of 69. She is now reunited with the love of her life Richard Buckley and precious grandson, Jarrod Jr.

Suzanne was survived by her three daughters, Jennifer (Chris), Jessica (Ian) and Jacqueline (Jason). Her grandchildren Jillian, Emma, Ethan, Nathan, Hailey, and her four step grandchildren, Makaila, Kasen, Cameron, Corey, as well as her sister Deanne, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews as well as cousins.
