Susan Elizabeth Frost

Susan Elizabeth Arnold Frost was born on March 26, 1942, at Long Beach Community Hospital. She was the 4 ^th child to Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Arnold, who made Ransom St. in Long Beach their home. Her brothers and sisters were, Joseph, Marilyn, Eddie and Kenneth. All are now deceased.

The Arnold family endured a rough hardship when their father, Raymond Arnold, passed away quite young, leaving his wife with 5 children under the age of 10. Susan had fond memories of helping her mother, Minnie, run the backyard family farm and Beauty Supply business in Long Beach. She often spoke of raising chickens, drinking goats milk, selling rabbits door to door, and they even raised a bull on their family property right here in Long Beach. As she grew older, she enjoyed dabbling in modeling, and we have the pictures to prove it.

Susan then focused on her family and raising her three children, Laura, Todd and Beth. Roger was the love of her life, and they filled their time with friends, parties, volunteerin at church and school functions, boating, and summers in Catalina. She was often the life of the party, willing to dress up like Santa for the school kids, win ‘best costume’ at the Halloween ball, and go above and beyond to make sure everyone was having a good time.

In their retirement, Susan and Roger traveled the world on cruise ships. It was a lifelong dream of theirs, to see the wonders of the world. They also enjoyed their many grandchildren; Lauren, Connor, and Sara (Laura and Rory); Jackie and Emily (Todd and Constanze) ; Marea and Evie (Beth and Gary) . They were especially proud of the limbs on their family tree and the accomplishments of all.

Susan would like you all to know that she will be a great grandmother to a boy, in May 2020.
