Writing an obituary for your mom who still had so much life in her and more life to live has been incredibly difficult. There just aren’t words or the right words to describe such a firey soul that created so many memories. We (her children) are in the process of creating a video to try to add more of a personal touch of who Shari Gordon was, and the memories she leaves behind.
Shari Lynn Gordon, a loving, honest, and fiercely loyal soul, passed away on November 12, 2025, at the age of 71. She lived her life with a beautiful mix of strength and softness — a true badass with a heart big enough for everyone around her that deserved her love.
Known for her quick wit and great sense of humor, she had a special way of lifting others up and getting them to open up to her about their troubles. She was a great listener, the one everyone trusted for advice, comfort, or a good laugh. She loved her family and friends deeply, and she especially loved her neighbors because they were part of that family too.
With the spirit of a child at heart, she never took herself too seriously. She embraced life with playfulness, honesty, and an authenticity that made people feel instantly at home with her. She will be forever remembered for her loyalty, her laughter, her wisdom, and the way she showed up for the people she loved.
Shari is survived by her children, Ryan Gordon and Caitlan Linz, who will forever carry her strength, humor, and heart with them. She is now reunited with the people she has missed so deeply — her beloved husband David Gordon, her mother-in-law Janet Mullen, her father Ted Senters, and her mother Darlene Senters — welcomed back into their arms in her heavenly home.
An intimate memorial and celebration of life will be held in early 2026, to honor the beautiful life she lived and the incredible mark she leaves behind.
