Passed away in a tragic car accident in Long Beach, California.
She was predeceased by her parents, the Honorable Peter V. Shorteno and Berthe Demers Shorteno, formerly of Montreal. She is survived by: her son Dr. Scott Crutchfield (and Martine) of California, granddaughter Marley who she treasured, sister Suzanne Shorteno Fraser (and Bob) of Delaware, brother Peter Shorteno (and Catherine) of B.C., and former husband Dr. Rob Crutchfield (and Cathy) of Belleville. In addition, she was adored by her niece Bianca Fraser-Johnson (and Michael), her great-nephew Fraser and great-niece and goddaughter Vanessa of Delaware.
She will be lovingly remembered by family and many friends for her incredibly generous soul and fun-loving spirit. Whether she knew you for 10 years or 10 minutes, she made your life better.
Services will be private.
