Sally Rosales Marin

Sally Marin, a long-time resident of Los Alamitos, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2016.  She was born on March 10, 1927 in Los Angeles. Sally attended Excelsior High School in Norwalk. She married Baudelio “Baudy” Marin in 1950 at St. Isadore Catholic Church, and moved into a house in Los Alamitos where she lived the remainder of her life.   Baudy and Sally were married for 54 years, until his death in 2004.

Sally worked as the Food Director for Los Alamitos School District and retired in 1982. She loved socializing, loved her family, and attended St. Hedwig Catholic Church. Family and friends were Sally’s passion and delight. She enjoyed being around loved ones and remembered birthdays, special events, and anniversaries of everyone she knew.

She is survived by her son, Ronald Marin of Los Alamitos; daughter, Lorraine Mulligan of Chino Hills; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She also leaves behind numerous loving relatives and friends. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren brought much joy to her life. She enjoyed hearing about and celebrating their accomplishments, no matter how big or small. She will be dearly missed by all that knew her. Heaven gained a beautiful Angel.

Rosary Services will be held at St. Hedwig Catholic Church in Los Alamitos on May 20th from 4:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. Mass will be held at Calvary Cemetery in East Los Angeles on May 21st at 12:30 p.m.
