Our beloved mother, Ruth Durkin, was called to God’s kingdom on August 18, 2019. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She is survived by her three children, Mike (Wife; Sandy), Mary Ann, and Joe (Wife; Julie). Ruth had three beautiful grandchildren whom she adored, Steve, Lindsay, and Jack. Ruth loved to travel, she loved Ireland, she was a voracious reader, she enjoyed watching tennis, and she loved playing cards and games with her sisters and family. Ruth’s strength in her Catholic faith was evident in her every action. A Catholic mass will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Friday, August 23rd, at 10:00 A.M. in Long Beach, California.
