Russell Wade, 82, passed away peacefully December 20, 2020.
Russell was born in Russell, Kansas to Russell and Maxine Wade on April 21, 1938. He married Larue Onken on April 6, 1958 in Ireton, Iowa. He was baptized March 30, 1947 in Ireton, Iowa and a member of Bethany Lutheran Church, Long Beach, CA, for 56 years. He served in the Marines with Honorable discharge June 4, 1962.
Russell is preceded in death by his father, his mother, and his wife.
Russell is survived by his sister Beverly DeKruyf; his son Mark Wade and wife Kathy; daughter Tamara Cerulle and husband Scott; his grandchildren: Joseph, Lauren, Aaron, Kyle, Kevin, Lindsay; his great-grandchildren: Nolan, Henry, Jacqueline Grace.
Private service and burial will be held at Riverside National on January 12, 2021 with Pastor Kevin Kritzer of Bethany Lutheran Church, officiating. Arrangements by Luyben Dilday Mortuary.
Cemetery is not accepting flowers during these times and in-lieu the family request Memorials be given to Bethany Lutheran Church and Schools, 4644 Clark Ave., Long Beach, CA 90808.
