At 10:30 am on November 6, 2015, a Memorial Service will be held at Saint Peter Chanel Parish in Hawaiian Gardens, CA for Mrs. Rosemarie Coleman who passed away October 31 in Long Beach, California. She will be interred at All Souls Cemetery in Long Beach. All friends and family are welcome. Rosemarie was born on October 2, 1928 in O'Neill, Nebraska. She graduated from St. Anthony High School in Long Beach, California. Rosemarie was married to Vincent Coleman who passed away in February 1987. Rosemarie is survived by her eight children, Patrick, Michael, Kathy (Farmer), Kevin, Shawn, Colleen (Moser), Maureen (Evans) and Mark along with 17 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. She led an active life, was very creative, and had many diverse interests. For more than 20 years she was a professional photographer and made many people happy with the joyful memories she was able to capture on film. Rosemarie also participated for many years in a writing group, Life Stories, and was a published author. She devoted her life to God and took her vows on December 17, 2000 to live her life according to the Rule of the Secular Order of Discalced Carmelites.
