Rose M Ripley

Rose Ripley (born Rose Martinez), 94, passed away at her home on August 30, 2022. Rose was born on December 13, 1927, in Sabinal, Texas, to Blas and Cecilia Martinez. Rose had eight siblings (6 brothers and two sisters).

In 1952, Rose married Joe Ripley. As Joe was in the military, they lived in Texas, Washington D.C., Los Angeles, New York City, and La Paz Bolivia. Finally, in 1967, they settled in Los Alamitos, where they raised their three children, Joseph (Michael), John and Rosanne.

Rose was preceded in death by her siblings Gabriel, Emilio, and Richard. She is survived by her loving husband, Joe, her sons Joseph (Michael) and John, her daughter Rosanne and son-in-law Peter. She is also survived by brothers Blas, Rudy and Joe, and her sister Hope and many beloved nieces and nephews. Her beloved sister Angie joined her in heaven on September 19, 2022.
