Rose Kurtzberg

Rose Kurtzberg, daughter of Max and Bertha Dorfman, passed to her Eternal Rest on December 14th 2025. Rose was born in Philadelphia, PA on September 25th, 1926, and married Harry Kurtzberg in 1946. She lived alone after Harry's death in 1985. In passing, Rose leaves 2 sons, (Jack and Alan), 4 grand-children (Marcie, Alan Jr., Rachel, and Eric), and 3 great-grand-children (Ronin, Philip, and Kenzie)

Rose was a strong woman, with strong convictions, and she lived her 99 years holding to those convictions. Her strength brought her through Hurricane Katrina while living in Biloxi MS. Her final years were spent here in Long Beach, where she could be closer to her son, Jack. She will be missed by many but can now rejoin Harry and be free from pain.
