Roland “Ron” Scully
1929-2017
Ron was born in Montreal, Canada to Peter Arnold and Lilly (Wyer) Scully 88 years ago and passed away at his home in Lakewood, California with his family by his side.
Predeceased by siblings Arnold, George, Lillian, Milton, Emmett, Celie and May, survivors include his wife of 62 years Rosemarie “Mimi” Scully, daughter Louise, son Stephen and daughter-in-law Judy, favorite grandchildren Erin, Lisa, Patrick, sister-in-law Andree LeBlanc of Vancouver, B.C., and many nieces and nephews in Canada, US, Switzerland.
His career included 25 years at UFCW benefit fund in Cypress as an Internal Auditor and 15 years at Shell Oil in Montreal and California.
Ron’s life was dedicated to his family. His interests were sports and politics.
Funeral Mass for Ron is Saturday, October 7th at 10 am at St. Cornelius Catholic Church, 5500 Wardlow Road, Long Beach.
