Rodolfo Santos

Rodolfo “Rudy” Santos was born on December 8, 1939, in San Marcelino, Zambales, Philippines. He passed away peacefully in his sleep on June 29, 2018, with his wife by his side. He was married to Purita Santos, his wife of over 50 years, had four children: Mario, Nancy, Nimfa and Joseph, and had four grandchildren: Xavier, Steven, Zedrik and Avery.

He received an engineering degree from FEATI University in the Philippines, and started his busy life when he joined the United States Navy in 1967 to include serving during the Vietnam War. He proudly served for 21 years, and retired from the U.S. Navy in 1988. Unwilling for an early retirement, he continued to work for the U.S. government and then for the State of California until his passing. He worked hard throughout his life to raise his family. He was a very loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be missed dearly, but always remembered.
