Roberts King Thomas January 14, 1936 - June 5, 2015 Roberts King Thomas was born in Pocatello, Idaho to Benjamin Roberts Thomas and Vilate King Thomas. He was the middle child of three; Ronald, 5 years older and, Linda, 5 years younger. He has left behind his sweetheart, Carol Jean Endter Thomas. They were married 54 years and have 6 children, Rick, Tamara, Roy, Ross, Tara and Rhett. He has 34 grandchildren and 11 great grand children. He has had many great friends. He was a tap dancer from a very young age and in many dance recitals. When he graduated from high school, he taught ball room dancing in New York City for 2 years. He then fulfilled a 2 ½ year mission in Mexico for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Upon being released from his mission, he went to Long Beach California to continue his teaching career with his cousin Darrell Call who owned a dance studio. His partner was Kathleen Iona Endter, Carol's mother. After 2 years of dating he married Carol in the Los Angeles LDS Temple June 23, 1961. Rob's favorite calling in the church was that of being a teacher and missionary. He just completed a 2 ½ year mission with his wife on Catalina Island. He was a manager at Catalina Airlines and other companies however his greatest profession was that of Ballroom Dance Instructor, which he continued throughout his life. Rob's entire life was dedicated to his family and his belief in the Savior Jesus Christ and in serving Him. His wife and six children were with him when he passed from this life into the next.
