Robert Ray Schwenn

Robert R. Schwenn (Grandpa Bob) passed away peacefully on Nov 21st, 2022 at his home of 68 years on Silva St. in Lakewood, CA with his family by his side.

He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on March 8th, 1923. He was a decorated soldier in the Army Air Force from 1943 to 1946. He followed his parents to California in 1947, where he met his future bride. He retired after working 30 years as a route salesman for Carnation. His favorite pastime was golf and played until the age of 90.

He is survived by his son Gary Schwenn, his daughter Raelene Maestas, and son Michael Schwenn.

Preceding his death is his wife of 57 years Alice Schwenn, daughter Ellene Stephen and son William Schwenn. He had 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

He lived a long, loving and adventurous 99 ¾ years. He was loved by many and will be missed dearly.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
