Robert H. Dickison

Robert Dickison, Born in Baker, Oregon on April 7, 1928, to Merton and Eathel Dickison, passed in Long Beach, California on January 23, 2024.
Graduating from Linfield College with his bachelor’s degree, Robert was drafted to serve in the Korean war, where he served fourteen months.
After returning home, he achieved his master’s degree from Oregon State and came to California in 1954. He began work for Shell Oil as a chemist and stayed with the company for 38 years.
He was married to his first wife, Diane Reed, for more than 30 years, until she passed away in 1995.
He then married Shirley Edwards, and they remained together for more than 18 years.
He is survived by 3 children, 4 nephews, and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
