Richard Henry Wohlgemuth Profile Photo

Richard Wohlgemuth was born on November 2, 1935. He lived in Long Beach, California with his mother and two brothers, Donald and Ronald. He went to Jordan High School in Long Beach California and met his love, Deanna. They were married in 1958. They had three boys, Ronald, Robert, and Tomas. They moved to Lakewood and raised them. He loved to fish and play golf. He loved spending time with his family. He loved to play golf, fish and spend time with his family. He once took Robert, Tomas and Donald fishing in Alaska. He was a great cook and loved to eat. Every year, he took his sons out to eat for their birthdays, talking , laughing, spending quality time. He loved Captain Jack’s crab legs and Northwoods Inn. He worked as a foreman for Edison on the gas turbines that created electricity. He worked a lot to give them the life they deserved. He was a member of Lakewood Country Club where he played golf. A lot of people loved playing golf with him even though he won most of the time. He was a wonderful, honest, hard-working, loyal father and person. Tomas, his son, took care of him until the end. Tomas and Ronald loved their father. Richard, you are gone now but you will never be forgotten. He spoiled all of us; the kindest, thoughtful, wonderful person that I will never forget. He died at Memorial Hospital, peacefully.

Love Lives On

Those we love remain with us for love itself lives on,
and cherished memories never fade because a loved one’s gone.
Those we love can never be more than a thought apart,
far as long as there is memory, they’ll live on in the heart.
