Randy Marshman

Randy Lee Marshman passed away Sunday February 21, 2021 at the age of 36 from a heart attack. He was born in Downey to Dan and Shirley Marshman.

He grew up in Downey attending Gallatin Elementary School, East Middle School and Downey High School Class of 2002.

He began his career as a firefighter then went back to school earning a bachelor’s degree in nursing and loved being an emergency room nurse at Los Alamitos Medical Center.

Randy married Megan Fate in 2010 and they have 2 sons, Foster age 5 and Jedidiah age 2. The last 5 years they have travelled extensively as a family supporting Megan’s Christian speaking engagements.

In addition to Megan, Foster, and Jedi, Randy is survived by his parents, Dan and Shirley Marshman, grandmother Mary Marshman, brother Jeff Marshman, sister in law Rachel Marshman, brother in law Steve Gros, sister in law Kimi Gros, nieces Georgia Marshman, Kate Marshman, and Berlin Gros, nephews Henry Marshman, Jonas Marshman, Landon Gros, and Rowan Gros, and In laws Fred and Ginny Fate.
