Ramon Ramirez Vicencio Iii

Ramon “Osie” Vicencio III, 64, of Lakewood, CA, passed away on March 11, 2023, after a hard-fought battle with cancer.

Osie was born in 1958 to Ramon and Luz in Manila, Philippines. He was their firstborn child and he was soon joined by his siblings, Marissa, Rommel, Ramir, and Melanie.

In 1983, he married Nannette and they both immigrated to the United States. They will later have their only child, Ramon Nicolo Vicencio IV in 1986.

Osie was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, and this extended to his parents, his siblings, and their families, as they were all eventually able to follow him to the US. He welcomed everyone to his home with open arms and helped each member of his family settle into their new country.
Osie was a strong, kind, loving, and supportive husband and father. His knowledge and guidance were the foundation of his family. He was unendingly proud of Nicolo and was happy to welcome his daughter-in-law, Doris, to the family in 2018. He was ecstatic at the birth of his first grandchild, David Ramon in 2021 and was looking forward to the birth of the twins later this year.

Anyone who knew Osie knew that he was the most loving father and husband a family could ask for. He is deeply loved and will be sorely missed.

Osie is survived by his wife, son, grandson, mother, siblings, and countless other family and friends.
