Patricia “Pat” Ann Johnson, beloved wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, died peacefully at home on June 21, 2022 after a valiant 16-year battle against cancer. Pat was born in Detroit, Michigan to James C. Flowers and Irene M. Eyler Flowers (deceased). Pat was preceded in death by her younger sister and brother, Barbara Jane and Robert James Flowers as well as her former husbands, Ed Bozulich and Les Johnson. Through her marriage to Les Johnson, “Grandma Pat” was also a grandmother to 5 grandchildren (John, Jared, Matt, Mike and Rachel) and 16 great-grandchildren.
Pat lived an abundant Masonic social and philanthropic life. She had been a life member of the Order of Eastern Star Meridian Chapter #310 for 26 years, which led to her being elected as a line officer in the Ladies Oriental Shrine where she spent five years going through the officers’ line, becoming High Priestess in 2002/2003 of El Tanya Court #61. She was also a member of the Social Order of the Beauceant, Order of the Amaranth, the Orange County Noblettes and Daughters of the Nile.
In addition, Pat was also a life member of the Embroiders Guild of America, Inc. Long Beach Chapter as well as being a member of the retired Police & Fire Assn. of America. The relationships made in these organizations, Pat said, were more like that of sisters to her.
