Patricia Ann Beggs Grote

Our beloved mother Patricia Ann Beggs Grote passed away on March 5th 2024 at 3:28pm, literally at the end of a school day. She was known as Mom, Pat, Mrs. Grote, Dearie, Gigi and Patricia when she was being sassy., Our mom would've been 90 years young on December 18th of this year!

Patricia Ann Beggs Grote was mother to Deborah Grote Luther and Kenneth Grote; grandmother to Laurren Grote Hastings, Bradley Grote, Christopher Grote, Haleigh Grote Rizzo, Nicholas Luther and Allison Luther Szilagyl. She was also very proud to be great grandmother to Kamryn Hastings, Kenzi Hastings, Kayla Hastings, Teegan Rizzo and Isabella Grote.

Mrs.Grote was a beloved and respected teacher at Lakewood HS, Millikan HS, and LBCC for most of her adult life. Teaching was her passion along with her family and friendships. During her lengthy career, her students were her pride and joy. She loved her success stories!

Pat loved Christmas, chocolate (particularly See's Candy), long conversations on the phone that had become a scheduled event in her later years. We will desperately miss her and her uncanny ability to help us all through life's struggles.
