In Loving Memory of Nancy Marie LortaOctober 8, 1955 – May 30, 2026

It is with sadness and immeasurable love that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and the heart of our family, Nancy who peacefully departed life on May 30th, 2026, at the age of 70. 

Nancy Lorta, a daughter, a wife, a mother, and a grandmother. Nancy is survived by her son, John Lorta and Jacob Lorta and her grandchildren Micaela and Jacob. She devoted herself to her family, not only by working in the trucking industry as a secretary for 20 years but devoted her life to the care and love needed for her son John. 

Nancy was a neighborhood pillar she was loved by everyone she came in contact with. She was in the neighborhood watch for North Long Beach area for 15+ years and she was a community leader who was involved in the formation of peace 90805. Nancy was married to Jesus and a devoted wife. Nancy had a passion for arts and crafts, and native American history. Nancy was a member of the catholic daughters of St Pancratius Catholic Church as a treasurer.Nancy was full of life always wanting to take every opportunity to give back and experience new things for herself and her family. 

She will be deeply missed her long conversations at night and her open ear, always ready to listen. Till we meet again, you will forever and always be in our hearts.
