Myrna Ann Mccain

Myrna Anne McCain (Campbell), a 40-year resident of Lakewood CA, passed away peacefully in her sleep in the early morning hours of December 28, 2019.

Myrna was born in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada on July 19, 1940 to Harold and Tina (Cameron) Campbell and was raised in Whitefish Falls, a place that she often spoke quite fondly of. She moved to California’s South Bay in February of 1964 where she met and married Don McCain on December 19th of the same year. Don passed one day after their 48th wedding anniversary.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother Jack Campbell and sister Gail Lundgren (husband Hal, predeceased). She is survived by her son, Don R. McCain, daughter-in-law Sandra McCain, grandsons Zackery and Maxwell McCain and several nieces and nephews.

Myrna’s kind and gentle spirit touched everyone who knew her and she will be greatly missed.

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 2:30pm at Luyben Dilday Mortuary 5161 Arbor Rd, Long Beach, CA 90808. Reception to follow at same location.
