Monsignor Brian Patrick Coghlan, Pastor Emeritus of Holy Family Church in Seal Beach, passed away on September 24, 2015. He was born in Ireland on December 1, 1934 and was ordained on May 1, 1963. He served several parishes in Orange County. He is survived by his brother John and two nieces, Nula and Tina. Both the Vigil on Wednesday, September 30, 7 pm, and the Funeral Mass Thursday, October 1, 11 am, will be at Holy Family Church in Seal Beach. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery, Orange CA. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Priests' Retirement Fund, Diocese of Orange, will be greatly appreciated.
