Michael Edward Buller Profile Photo
Michael Edward Buller was suddenly swept up from this life to serve a higher purpose on October 18, 2015. A California native who grew up in Compton, Michael loved catching the perfect wave, dreaming of owning hot rods, listening to Dick Dale the king of the surf guitar and rocking out on the drums in his younger years. Later in life, his passions ranged from cheering on the Los Angeles Dodgers from the comfort of his couch, blowing out his eardrums at the drag races in Bakersfield, sneaking spoonfuls of peanut butter from the jar and relishing a new life of retirement alongside his wife. Throughout his life, Michael magically became the adopted father of his children's friends and many considered him to be a perfect definition of what a father was. His genuine smile combined with his go with the flow attitude were his calling cards and his silly storytelling and one liners will live on as a vivid memory for many. Michael was always his three children's biggest fan, whether it be cheering them on from the sidelines at sporting events or encouraging them to follow their dreams. He was a best buddy to the two grandchildren he adored and had no qualms about being a doting grandpa to several furry grandchildren. Michael was a devoted and supportive husband of 45 years and the yin to his wife's yang. Together they formed a whole. The world will not be the same without Michael's goofy personality, his legendary hugs and and his honest, pure love of people. His legacy will be carried on by his wife Elaine, his older brother Charles, his children Shelly, Sean and Shannon, sons-in law Phil and Brainer and grandchildren Tasi, Tano, Melo, Missy and Lu.
