A CELEBRATION OF LIFE, A VIEWING RECEPTION

A catered celebration of Maurice’s life remembering his talents and leadership will take place on Thursday, October 27, 2022, at Luyben Dilday Mortuary, 5161 E. Arbor Road, Long Beach, beginning at 11:00am – 1:30pm.

We will serve a cuisine menu of Crabcakes with Chipotle Mayonnaise, Stuffed Mushrooms Herb and Cheese Filling and Mini Quiches featuring Desserts and beverages of tea, water and coffee. Friends get to mingle while a video slideshow displays Maurice’s lifelong memories treasured as his favorite music plays in the background.

An open mike is available for anyone wishing to share their experience spent with our honoree. As our visual celebration ends, we pay our last respects to a talented tennis Champion and Parks and Recreation Supervisor we admired and knew well.

A gravesite and internment service at 2:30pm will directly follow at Artesia District Cemetery, 11142 Artesia Blvd., Cerritos, CA

(Note: Luyben Dilday Mortuary is reached off Del Almo Blvd and Bellflower Blvd which boarders the City of Lakewood)

(The Artesia Cemetery is a 10 min. drive from Luyben Dilday Mortuary)

Directions to Artesia cemetery: From Del Almo Blvd. turn right, stay straight until you come to Studebaker about a mile up, then turn left. Go all the way straight up Studebaker to Artesia Blvd and turn right, the cemetery is on your right.
