Masako Williams was born in Japan, November 10, 1931. She was married to USN SKC Ernest Leon Williams. She is survived by her children Larry Williams from Fresno, Jerri Williams from Yucaipa, Dina Williams from Compton, CA and Robin and spouse Randy Cook from Flagstaff, AZ; Grandchildren Victoria and spouse Jeff Poulin from San Diego, Gina Merriam and Sam Juarez of Calimesa, Julie and Chris Laliberte from San Diego, Jennifer Merriam and Ricky Coe from Yucaipa, Kaitlyn Breitweg from Yucaipa, Crystal and Ulysses Martinez of Van Nuys, Tommy and spouse Pamela Collins from Anaheim, Bridgette and spouse Vance Poort from Compton, Wayne and Amanda Cook from Flagstaff, AZ; and great grandchildren Anthony Valdez, Ryan and Lily Laliberte, Alexander and Mason Coe, Maddison, Maryanne, Megan, Mike and Max T and dogs Bonzai and Elfina.
She came to the United States in 1958 with her husband and one year old son Larry and became a citizen. She lived in South Carolina then bought a home in Lakewood, CA in 1974. She moved to Gold Star Manor, a retirement home in Long Beach. In October 2015, she settled into Yucaipa for her last year of life. She worked at Bell Helmets for over 10 years before the company moved and Honeywell until she retired. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren and often took them to Chuck E. Cheese. She loved cooking Japanese cuisine for all her friends and family and loved gardening. She was a wonderful and awesome woman who will be greatly missed.
