Mary Sara Romero Profile Photo

On August 17, 2023 Maria (Mary) Sara Romero at the age of 84 got her wings and went to walk with the Angels. Mary was born on August 20, 1938 to her loving parents Esteban and Theresa Vallejos.

She has been reunited in Heaven with her parents, husband Al, daughter Gloria, son Johnny, niece Lillian, sisters Della and Sadie, and her brothers Rudy and Gilbert.

She was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She later decided to move to California where she built a life and left a legacy.

She is survived by her daughters Margaret and Debbie as well as her sons Lawrence and Thomas. She is also survived by her sister Molly, 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

She will remain the brightest light in their lives as she lives now in their hearts.

Mary was the matriarch of the family. She was the central figure of our lives. She was our heart when we wanted to feel her loving nature, our soul when we were feeling lost, and our backbone when we needed strength. She made an instant impact on everyone who met her. Mary was loved by so many. Her positive outlook, generous spirit, and kind heart left an impression wherever she went. She never met a stranger that didn’t quickly become a friend. She always went out of her way to help anyone in need and had an incredible work ethic that will be forever remembered. She lived with bravery, strength and perseverance, which inspired those around her, and hope we can honor her by carrying out her spirit. Mary will be remembered by her family as a loving, supportive mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and faithful friend.
