Mary Ellen Martin

Martin, Mary Ellen (Shafer), 100 of Lakewood passed away April 2, 2024, in her home.

Preceded in death by parent’s Eugene and Ethel Shafer, Husband Irvin  H. Martin, Brothers; Max and Chester, and Sister: Thelma Strange, Sons: Tony Max, and Troy Dean, and a great-granddaughter Sarah Marie Colby.

Survived by sons and daughters-in-law Linda (Tony) Martin, Todd (Shirley) Martin, Thad (Bonnie) Martin, Terry, Timmy; daughter Tamara (John) Stone; seven grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Mary loved gardening and had a green thumb. She loved animals and birds. Mary crocheted, did needlework and worked crossword puzzles.

Mary will be sorely missed. In lieu of services, any contributions should be made to the SPCA.
