Mary Ann Was born in Waterman, Illinois on September 23, 1921 to Christopher Harry and Mary Lucille Watson. She married Bill Koppes on September 22, 1945, and they had five children: Richard (Connie), Peggy Just (Jim), Donald (Liz), Thomas (Carol) and Paul (Rita). She had 16 grandchildren: Jeff, Kevin, James, Lisa, Kristen, Julie, Megan, Bill, Shelly, Michael, Brian (deceased), Stephen, Katie, Annie, Matthew, and Christina. She was also blessed with 13 great-grandchildren. She and Bill moved to their home in Lakewood, CA in 1959, and they became very active parishioners at St. Pancratius parish - and for Mary Ann that was 57 years of joyful faith involvement and making lifetime friends. She passed into eternal life on April 22, 2016.
Her funeral Mass will be Friday, April 29 at 10:30 am at St. Pancratius Church, 3519 St. Pancratius Place, Lakewood, CA. Burial will be private at All Souls Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to St. Pancratius in Mary Ann's memory.
