Marshall LeSage grew up in Pasadena and Altadena, CA. After graduating high school he joined the Army during WWII and spent time in Florida as the Generals photographer. He worked for Tuttle Camera Store in Belmont Shore, CA as a manager and camera salesman where he worked for about 20 years. After that, he started his own wedding photography business which he was the sole proprietor for the next 20 years. After retiring he continued working at Glenn E. Thomas Chrysler and then spent a few years at The Long Beach Airport as the Airport Commissioner.
Marshall is survived by his son, Michael LeSage, daughter-in-law Nancy LeSage, grandsons, Garrett LeSage, Curtis LeSage, Jonathan LeSage, granddaughter Natalie (LeSage) Crawford. Great grandsons William Crawford, Michael Crawford. Grandson-in-law Clay Crawford and granddaughter-in-law Dr. Leslie LeSage. Step-son Rick Bird, step-grandson Mark Bird and step-granddaughter Tanya (Bird) Strass.
Marshall LeSage, an only child, is preceded in death by his wife Dorothy (Bird) LeSage, his mother Kathleen LeSage, his father Jules LeSage, and his first wife Poppy (Craine) LeSage.
Michael and Nancy LeSage wishes to extend their gratitude to everyone at Hospice and also everyone at Harvest Retirement Home in Buena Park who took excellent care of him for over a year, and to Luyben Dilday Mortuary. Thank-you so much to everyone.
