Mark Grotsky

Lakewood California — Mark Grotsky died at home with his family following a brief illness on Tuesday September 19, 2017.

H e leaves his wife of 38 years, Kim George; his brother Steve Grotsky (Imelda); his son's, Gary Grotsky (Kelly) and Kevin Grotsky (Erica); his grandchildren Jyl, Alyssa, Nicholas, Sadie and Dawn; and great grandchild Ethan.

Born and raised in Downey California, Mark graduated from Warren High School. He was a resident of Lakewood and worked at Robertshaw in Long Beach for over 40 years.

Mark loved the Colorado River, boating, camping, and surfing. His passion was old cars especially his Ford Woodie which he loved taking to car shows. He was a member of the Southern California Woodie Club for many years.

He was respected and loved by all who knew him. He will be missed more than words can say..

A funeral service will be held September 27th at 11:00 A.M. at Luyben Dilday Mortuary in Long Beach California.

A reception will be held following the service at Monte Verde Park ~Vista Lodge Lakewood California.
