"My mom passed away peacefully in her sleep early Saturday morning, May 2, 2026, at the age of 94. My mama was survived by all of us and we meant the world to her. She touched our individual lives in a very special way. Her love was unconditional and she always - no matter what she was doing - took the time to spend with us. She had a soft welcoming smile, a heart full of pride and joy and loved giving and receiving big warm hugs.

She looked forward to having company over for a visit, day or night. My mama loved sports, especially baseball. She enjoyed outings and adventures from going to parties, Angel games, camping on the Kern, concerts in the park, car shows and dive bars. She played bingo, bunco, cards and poker slots in Vegas. She loved a good grilled cheese, pizza, diner food, breakfast for dinner, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and especially dessert.

She will always be a beloved mom, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, auntie and friend.

My mom always expressed how thankful and truly blessed she was for a new day, and everyone she had in her life and new friends she made along the way.
