Marilyn Rudolph Armstrong, 85, passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at Sunrise of Seal Beach where she was a resident in Memory Care.

Marilyn was born on March 28, 1935 in Warren, PA, to the late Hannah and Russell Rudolph. She was married on June 25, 1955 to Jack Armstrong at the Presbyterian Church in Warren, PA.

Raised in Warren, PA, Marilyn was a graduate of Warren High School in 1953. After her marriage to Jack, she moved to California in 1955 and became a mother actively involved in raising four daughters. Marilyn was a Lutheran and participated in the church quilting and bible study groups over the years. After raising her family, Marilyn worked for nine and a half years at the El Segundo Public Library. She enjoyed crafting, sewing, crocheting, quilting and reading. Marilyn was a woman of faith who deeply loved her family and was a dedicated and supportive mother and friend to many. She will be greatly missed and will forever be in our hearts.

Marilyn is survived by her four daughters, Deberah Pavlisin of Sarasota, FL, Nancy Boyer of St. George, UT, Rebecca Armstrong of Santa Barbara, CA and Annette Rodrigues of Long Beach, CA and eight grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother, Rudy Rudolph of Lexington, KY and two Aunts as well as several nieces and nephews.  Marilyn was predeceased by her parents and her brother, Blaine Rudolph.

Marilyn will be buried at the Riverside National Cemetery. The family suggests memorial donations to the Friends of the El Segundo Library.
