Maria Luisa "Mars" Sanico

It is with heavy hearts that we grieve the passing of our beloved mother, Maria Luisa "Mars" Sanico, who departed from this world on August 1, 2024, at the age of 80. Mars was a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, cousin and friend, and her loss leaves a void that can never be filled.

Born on April 2, 1944, in Cebu City, Philippines, Maria Luisa "Mars" Sanico was the daughter of Mary and Florencio Sanico. She grew up with a deep love for family, which she carried throughout her life. Mars dedicated her life to her loved ones, always putting the needs of others before her own and creating a home filled with warmth, unconditional love, and care.

She is survived by her children: Robert, Leeland, Mary Rose, Michael, and Margaret; her grandchildren: Justin, Joseph, Joanna, Joshua, Paula, Martin, Pyjg, Natalla, Miko, Marco, and Antonina; and her siblings: Emma, Sonny, Butch, and May. We will continue to honor her legacy by living our lives with the same kindness, grace, and compassion she embodied every day.

She was known for her unconditional kindness, generosity, love, and care. Mars touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Her strength in difficult times and her unwavering love were beacons to all who knew her.

Maria Luisa "Mars" Sanico will be remembered forever in our hearts, and her love will continue to guide us through the days ahead. May she rest in Everlasting Peace, and may Eternal Light shine upon her.
